Narrative:

During check, aileron cables were changed on an light transport. A panel in front of the left hand aileron was not secured on inboard end causing a vibration and subsequent air-return shortly after takeoff. A panel was partially removed to accommodate maintenance. Bag of screws affixed to panel mysteriously disappeared. Removal and replacement of panel called for in maintenance manual. Inspection did not discover loose panel. Light transport maintenance manuals translated from portuguese. Panel in question called at least 3 names in 1 chapter. No alpha/numeric designator for it in chapter 6. Manuals are sometimes very ambiguous and one must use own prerogative to accomplish maintenance.
