Narrative:

While on the bergi departure out of amsterdam, we inadvertently tuned in and turned onto the 308 degree radial of spl instead of the 308 degree radial of spy. We noted traffic on our TCASII at 1030 ft, 2 1/2 mi, 900 ft below us. The controller told us bergi was 30 degrees to our right, and gave us a vector to bergi. He also told us of the traffic. The possible additional cause for this error is that bergi radial lines up from spl VOR, which is depicted on the departure plate, whereas the spy VOR, is not shown. Additional confusion may have come from the fact that we received and briefed 3 runway changes and sids during our taxi out runway 19L, 24, 27, our departure runway. The SID would be more clear and less error prone if the spy VOR was depicted on the commercial plate.

Title: AN ACR WDB CREW FAILED TO USE THE RIGHT VOR ON DEP AT EHAM.

Narrative: WHILE ON THE BERGI DEP OUT OF AMSTERDAM, WE INADVERTENTLY TUNED IN AND TURNED ONTO THE 308 DEG RADIAL OF SPL INSTEAD OF THE 308 DEG RADIAL OF SPY. WE NOTED TFC ON OUR TCASII AT 1030 FT, 2 1/2 MI, 900 FT BELOW US. THE CTLR TOLD US BERGI WAS 30 DEGS TO OUR R, AND GAVE US A VECTOR TO BERGI. HE ALSO TOLD US OF THE TFC. THE POSSIBLE ADDITIONAL CAUSE FOR THIS ERROR IS THAT BERGI RADIAL LINES UP FROM SPL VOR, WHICH IS DEPICTED ON THE DEP PLATE, WHEREAS THE SPY VOR, IS NOT SHOWN. ADDITIONAL CONFUSION MAY HAVE COME FROM THE FACT THAT WE RECEIVED AND BRIEFED 3 RWY CHANGES AND SIDS DURING OUR TAXI OUT RWY 19L, 24, 27, OUR DEP RWY. THE SID WOULD BE MORE CLR AND LESS ERROR PRONE IF THE SPY VOR WAS DEPICTED ON THE COMMERCIAL PLATE.
