Narrative:

I am an instructor pilot with a large airline training center located at goodyear, az. I am also without a current medical because of a heart attack suffered during 1/92. After my recovery I have only flown with certified pilots. During the early part of 11/92 I was approached by my 141 chief instructor and 141 assistant chief instructor stating that they had a fully qualified pilot for me to work with and asked if I would fly with this pilot while he went through a 141 syllabus. I understood 'fully qualified' to mean completely current. After a number of flts I discovered that this pilot did not have a current biennial flight review or a complex aircraft sign off. During this time all of these flts were conducted without a fully qualified PIC and therefore in violation of the far's.
