Narrative:

Exceeded taxi clearance limits resulting in a runway incursion causing an aircraft on approach to have to go around. Entire crew unfamiliar with airport (so stated prior night upon arrival). New captain (still high mins) taxi speed. Captain relying too much on first officer for taxi guidance. So not provided taxi chart. First officer caught problem, captain stopped beyond hold short line (large transport) nose penetrating runway plane. Crew was well rested. No other human performance factors involved except poor judgement, poor cockpit resource management. Poor signage. Continue to stress proper taxi speed. Issue taxi charts to so's, improve signage, install red hold lights.
