Narrative:
We were cleared for ILS 31R at love field, dallas, tx. We lined up by accident on 31L, then called the visual. Airlines said that we were underneath him. Approach called and told me that I was lined up on 31L and he gave me a turn to the northwest. I called approach and we talked about it. He said that vertical separation was good. He also said there would be no violation.

Narrative: WE WERE CLRED FOR ILS 31R AT LOVE FIELD, DALLAS, TX. WE LINED UP BY ACCIDENT ON 31L, THEN CALLED THE VISUAL. AIRLINES SAID THAT WE WERE UNDERNEATH HIM. APCH CALLED AND TOLD ME THAT I WAS LINED UP ON 31L AND HE GAVE ME A TURN TO THE NW. I CALLED APCH AND WE TALKED ABOUT IT. HE SAID THAT VERT SEPARATION WAS GOOD. HE ALSO SAID THERE WOULD BE NO VIOLATION.
