Narrative:

As descent from FL370 begun, the right engine compressor stalled and the egt began to rise. The engine failure checklist was used to shut down engine. A 3 degree glide was performed to pbi. Landing was uneventful. Passengers were deplaned at the gate at the terminal. Initially, it was difficult to determine which engine was winding down due autothrottles were reducing both to close for descent.
