Narrative:
I found out later there was an interruption of electrical power going to the flight instruments/avionics. The most important point to be made here is the lack of a VFR corridor/transition route through the los angeles TCA that would not require radio contact before entering as has been in the past. I followed the last vectors out of the TCA before contact was lost.

Title: SMA ON IFR FLT PLAN HAS TRANSPONDER, RADIO PROBLEMS IN TCA.
Narrative: I FOUND OUT LATER THERE WAS AN INTERRUPTION OF ELECTRICAL PWR GOING TO THE FLT INSTS/AVIONICS. THE MOST IMPORTANT POINT TO BE MADE HERE IS THE LACK OF A VFR CORRIDOR/TRANSITION RTE THROUGH THE LOS ANGELES TCA THAT WOULD NOT REQUIRE RADIO CONTACT BEFORE ENTERING AS HAS BEEN IN THE PAST. I FOLLOWED THE LAST VECTORS OUT OF THE TCA BEFORE CONTACT WAS LOST.
