Narrative:
Moderate chop kicked us 300 ft higher than assigned altitude of 13K ft. I called 'altitude 300 ft high.' captain responded. We had previously requested a higher altitude due to turbulence and were awaiting clearance due to traffic conflict. Autoplt was off and probably should have been on. Center ATC requested a telephone call upon landing at our destination.
