Narrative:
Student returning from solo cross country. On landing went off the runway to the left. Afterward, he explained that he was blown off the runway to the right and made a wind correction by putting in left rudder. He stopped in the grass, left side of the runway. There were no injuries.

Title: CFI RPT OF SOLO STUDENT RWY EXCURSION DEALING WITH XWIND LNDG.
Narrative: STUDENT RETURNING FROM SOLO XCOUNTRY. ON LNDG WENT OFF THE RWY TO THE L. AFTERWARD, HE EXPLAINED THAT HE WAS BLOWN OFF THE RWY TO THE R AND MADE A WIND CORRECTION BY PUTTING IN L RUDDER. HE STOPPED IN THE GRASS, L SIDE OF THE RWY. THERE WERE NO INJURIES.
