Passenger stepped on left rudder pedal while on the landing roll phase of flight. Aircraft veered to the left of runway 13R and contacted runway sign with propeller. Aircraft was taxied to parking. Prevent recurrence: brief passengers on the importance of rudder implications especially when aircraft is on the ground and in motion. Important for small light aircraft where passengers occupy front seats besides pilot.
