Narrative:
Takeoff 35 left (dfw international). Engines stabilized. Approximately 80 KTS experienced complete electrical failure. Aborted takeoff and returned to gate. Maintenance changed generator control unit left engine. Electrical system checked. Continued trip with normal takeoff. Electrical system operated normally throughout flight.

Narrative: TKOF 35 L (DFW INTL). ENGS STABILIZED. APPROX 80 KTS EXPERIENCED COMPLETE ELECTRICAL FAILURE. ABORTED TKOF AND RETURNED TO GATE. MAINT CHANGED GENERATOR CTL UNIT L ENG. ELECTRICAL SYS CHKED. CONTINUED TRIP WITH NORMAL TKOF. ELECTRICAL SYS OPERATED NORMALLY THROUGHOUT FLT.
