Narrative:
During pushback of the aircraft ramp maintenance tug driver said 'set brakes, set brakes.' (after setting brakes I was informed a flight attendant had been injured during the sudden stop.) the ground ramp/driver informed me the tow bar had come unattached and he had lost control of the aircraft pushback. Prevention: different words on what had happened instead of set brakes.
