Narrative:
Departed clt for san juan at XA15 local time, over charleston, sc. Checked omega navigation system #1 dead on #2 slightly off but in limits at loss of radar contact jax ARTCC gave position 22 mi southwest of smelt intersection. #1 omega showed 25 mi southwest of smelt, #2 further off. Flight continued on #1 since it showed closer to correct. When radar established, position was approximately 65 mi east of course. Continued to sju on radar vectors. On arrival at sju #1 omega approximately 100 mi off east of course, #2 85 mi west of course. #1 omega had been repaired in clt before departure. I would feel better if omega required to fly 1 full leg before overwater dispatch.
