Narrative:

At cruise altitude (31000 ft) altitude warning horn sounded. Switched to standby control, cabin continued to slowly climb, requested lower from ATC and descended to 10000 ft. Also tried manual AC and dc, cabin still climbed. Checked with flight attendants. All passenger normal. Passenger oxygen mask did not deploy. Continued to destination (ind). Supplemental information from acn 218919: could not stop the cabin from climbing in automatic, standby, or manual control. At 10000 ft had limited control of cabin. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: a callback to the first officer did not produce much new information. The crew did not have to declare an emergency and did not get any real 'special handling' from ATC. The outbound trip was delayed 3 hours, then cancelled because maintenance was unable to find the pressurization problem quickly. The reporting first officer thought that it may have been the outflow valve. An FAA representative interviewed the aircrew as he had heard that the oxygen masks were deployed.

Title: AN MLG ACR HAD A SLOW LOSS OF CABIN PRESSURIZATION. THEY PROCEEDED TO THEIR DEST AT 10000 FT MSL.

Narrative: AT CRUISE ALT (31000 FT) ALT WARNING HORN SOUNDED. SWITCHED TO STANDBY CTL, CABIN CONTINUED TO SLOWLY CLB, REQUESTED LOWER FROM ATC AND DSNDED TO 10000 FT. ALSO TRIED MANUAL AC AND DC, CABIN STILL CLBED. CHKED WITH FLT ATTENDANTS. ALL PAX NORMAL. PAX OXYGEN MASK DID NOT DEPLOY. CONTINUED TO DEST (IND). SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 218919: COULD NOT STOP THE CABIN FROM CLBING IN AUTO, STANDBY, OR MANUAL CTL. AT 10000 FT HAD LIMITED CTL OF CABIN. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: A CALLBACK TO THE FO DID NOT PRODUCE MUCH NEW INFO. THE CREW DID NOT HAVE TO DECLARE AN EMER AND DID NOT GET ANY REAL 'SPECIAL HANDLING' FROM ATC. THE OUTBOUND TRIP WAS DELAYED 3 HRS, THEN CANCELLED BECAUSE MAINT WAS UNABLE TO FIND THE PRESSURIZATION PROBLEM QUICKLY. THE RPTING FO THOUGHT THAT IT MAY HAVE BEEN THE OUTFLOW VALVE. AN FAA REPRESENTATIVE INTERVIEWED THE AIRCREW AS HE HAD HEARD THAT THE OXYGEN MASKS WERE DEPLOYED.
