Narrative:
We were running 3 hours late because of WX earlier in the day. Landed at layover field at XA00 home domicile time. Approach and landing were fine and we headed toward the gate. Missed a turn and stopped with nosewheel off the pavement. Fortunately, there were no injuries or damage. Very embarrassed. We called for a tug to push the aircraft back onto the taxiway. Contributing factors -- no taxiway edge lights, glare from ramp lights, bare ground looked similar to pavement. The real cause? Perhaps we began to relax a couple of mins early after a long day.
