Narrative:

Traffic pattern was busy and aircraft were closely spaced. I was #1 for landing. On final, I had 1 airplane also on final behind me, 1 on base leg and several on downwind. I was touching runway before I realized I had forgotten to lower the landing gear. Causes: primary: failure to complete pre- landing checklist. Secondary: head set shut off sound of gear unsafe warning horn. Concern over following traffic and pattern congestion made me hurry.
