Narrative:

Cleared to fly runway 30 zip 1 departure. SID chart contains non- standard commercial chart symbology ie, runway 30 SID track depicted with dashed line instead of standard solid line. Caused crew to turn right after takeoff following solid line (which is actually part of runway 12 procedure) instead of turning left to follow runway 30 dashed line. Am currently involved in getting chart changed to conform to standard format. Supplemental information from acn 211976. I occupied the left seat and made the takeoff. A check airman occupied the right seat. Giving me my initial south american high altitude line check. During push out ground changed our departure to the zipaquira 2 departure (zip 2). I reset the FMC while the check airman received verbal loads close out (ACARS not operational in bogata). On requesting taxi clearance, ground changed our clearance to runway 30 zipaquira 1 (zip 1). I had previously briefed runway 12 engine failure procedures, a mandatory briefing using 4 NDB's and 1 VOR for terrain clearance. I rebriefed runway 30 engine failure procedures, for flaps 5 as we were too heavy for flaps 15. I reset the FMC for the new departure, while the check airman recomputed takeoff data for 5 degree flaps. All bugs were changed accordingly, and I briefed the zip 1 departure for no engine failure. There is no verbal description of the departure. There is a small box which I missed in the clutter. On takeoff I turned right 030 degree at dr direct zip. Tower questioned our right turn, but due to heavy static, and heavy spanish accent, we did not realize the error until en route to zip. Terrain clearance was good.

Title: ACR WDB FLC TURNS THE WRONG WAY ON DEP FROM BOGATA.

Narrative: CLRED TO FLY RWY 30 ZIP 1 DEP. SID CHART CONTAINS NON- STANDARD COMMERCIAL CHART SYMBOLOGY IE, RWY 30 SID TRACK DEPICTED WITH DASHED LINE INSTEAD OF STANDARD SOLID LINE. CAUSED CREW TO TURN R AFTER TKOF FOLLOWING SOLID LINE (WHICH IS ACTUALLY PART OF RWY 12 PROC) INSTEAD OF TURNING L TO FOLLOW RWY 30 DASHED LINE. AM CURRENTLY INVOLVED IN GETTING CHART CHANGED TO CONFORM TO STANDARD FORMAT. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 211976. I OCCUPIED THE L SEAT AND MADE THE TKOF. A CHK AIRMAN OCCUPIED THE R SEAT. GIVING ME MY INITIAL SOUTH AMERICAN HIGH ALT LINE CHK. DURING PUSH OUT GND CHANGED OUR DEP TO THE ZIPAQUIRA 2 DEP (ZIP 2). I RESET THE FMC WHILE THE CHK AIRMAN RECEIVED VERBAL LOADS CLOSE OUT (ACARS NOT OPERATIONAL IN BOGATA). ON REQUESTING TAXI CLRNC, GND CHANGED OUR CLRNC TO RWY 30 ZIPAQUIRA 1 (ZIP 1). I HAD PREVIOUSLY BRIEFED RWY 12 ENG FAILURE PROCS, A MANDATORY BRIEFING USING 4 NDB'S AND 1 VOR FOR TERRAIN CLRNC. I REBRIEFED RWY 30 ENG FAILURE PROCS, FOR FLAPS 5 AS WE WERE TOO HVY FOR FLAPS 15. I RESET THE FMC FOR THE NEW DEP, WHILE THE CHK AIRMAN RECOMPUTED TKOF DATA FOR 5 DEG FLAPS. ALL BUGS WERE CHANGED ACCORDINGLY, AND I BRIEFED THE ZIP 1 DEP FOR NO ENG FAILURE. THERE IS NO VERBAL DESCRIPTION OF THE DEP. THERE IS A SMALL BOX WHICH I MISSED IN THE CLUTTER. ON TKOF I TURNED R 030 DEG AT DR DIRECT ZIP. TWR QUESTIONED OUR R TURN, BUT DUE TO HVY STATIC, AND HVY SPANISH ACCENT, WE DID NOT REALIZE THE ERROR UNTIL ENRTE TO ZIP. TERRAIN CLRNC WAS GOOD.
