Narrative:

Cha was hosting an air show day of near miss. Small aircraft X being vectored for approach by cha approach control for ILS runway 20 at 4000 ft MSL. An small transport Y crossed my flight path directly below me crossing from left to right. Approach control was not prepared to handle volume of traffic into cha arsa, marginal VFR conditions existed and IFR and VFR traffic was converging. Additional personnel should be on hand working approach control in order to maintain smooth flow of traffic and allow adequate separation.
