Narrative:

We called ground for taxi and were instructed to 'taxi to runway 8 via B3, F, and a, hold short of 35.' I acknowledged 'hold short of 35.' the captain proceeded to taxi but did not hold short of 35. As we crossed 35, ground told us that an aircraft was overflying our position and reminded us that we were instructed to hold short. The aircraft had taken off from runway 03 and made a left turn to overfly runway 35. Runway 35 was closed for construction, and had a considerable amount of men/equipment blockades which added to the confusion of why we would hold short of that runway. I was busy with takeoff data computations and was not monitoring our taxi.
