Narrative:

On boids 2 arrival into dfw at 11000 ft, TCASII first gave a TA then followed immediately with an RA. As I followed the RA call to descend I asked the first officer to notify approach. Approach advised us to climb back to 11000 as we had head-on traffic at 10000. At this time the TCASII gave another RA to climb, in its present confign the use of TCASII is dangerous! It will call for a climb or descent when aircraft have legal separation and are not in danger of colliding.
