Narrative:

Taxiing out to runway 32L (T-1 intersection) on the inner taxiway, we missed the turn at the 'stub' due to a quick clearance as we went by it. Then when we repeatedly asked for help, we were ignored by ground control. We turned onto the outer at the 'T-3' instead of the parallel due to the confusion caused by ground control not coming back with any genuine communication. Eventually we made it to runway 32L/T-1 by trial and error- with not much help from ground control. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated the reference to runway 32R was in error. The first officer was inexperienced with ord and a low time first officer. The first officer made a mistake on the original taxi instructions and became aggressive with the ground controller. The ground controller made a smart remark to the first officer and then the ground controller quit talking. Reporter felt he should have intervened because the first officer was out of line with his communication.

Title: ACR X NON ADHERENCE TO ATC INSTRUCTIONS TURNED ON WRONG TAXIWAY.

Narrative: TAXIING OUT TO RWY 32L (T-1 INTXN) ON THE INNER TAXIWAY, WE MISSED THE TURN AT THE 'STUB' DUE TO A QUICK CLRNC AS WE WENT BY IT. THEN WHEN WE REPEATEDLY ASKED FOR HELP, WE WERE IGNORED BY GND CTL. WE TURNED ONTO THE OUTER AT THE 'T-3' INSTEAD OF THE PARALLEL DUE TO THE CONFUSION CAUSED BY GND CTL NOT COMING BACK WITH ANY GENUINE COM. EVENTUALLY WE MADE IT TO RWY 32L/T-1 BY TRIAL AND ERROR- WITH NOT MUCH HELP FROM GND CTL. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR STATED THE REF TO RWY 32R WAS IN ERROR. THE FO WAS INEXPERIENCED WITH ORD AND A LOW TIME FO. THE FO MADE A MISTAKE ON THE ORIGINAL TAXI INSTRUCTIONS AND BECAME AGGRESSIVE WITH THE GND CTLR. THE GND CTLR MADE A SMART REMARK TO THE FO AND THEN THE GND CTLR QUIT TALKING. RPTR FELT HE SHOULD HAVE INTERVENED BECAUSE THE FO WAS OUT OF LINE WITH HIS COM.
