Narrative:

I was sitting in first class unable to see the cockpit door. When I heard someone say that he was from the FAA here to check out the aircraft and 'where is the captain.' I realized that the cockpit door was open and that he was talking to passenger. This drove home the fact that anyone could have caused major damage because of the door being open. We all need to pay closer attention to security.
