Narrative:

IFR from monterey to san jose; final controller san jose approach vectoring; asked if airport in sight. It was. Cleared me for visual runway 11 (visual approach) and gave me a frequency change. The local controller, when contacted, stated 'keep clear of oakland arsa.' I turned approximately 5 mi final, announced 3-5 mi final to runway 11. The local controller stated I did not belong there and instructed me to turn north, and requested a squawk identify. This was the squawk I had been assigned for the flight. About this time I concluded I was talking to oakland not san jose. The controller must have picked me up via identify and told me to contact san jose on 124.40 but I had enough and told san jose to cancel IFR. Note: chart plates have frequencys for 12R and left but none for runway 11.
