Narrative:

The radio tower located 1/2 mi northeast of griffith airport are unlighted. Numerous phone calls to the radio station, reports to the FAA and the FCC to the best of my knowledge have gone unanswered, or the radio station has not complied with their directives. This situation creates a hazard to air navigation during the period of dusk to dawn. We have received numerous complaints from pilots of aircraft using our facility about this safety hazard, since the towers are located very close to the traffic pattern. This problem has been ongoing for a period of approximately 2-3 yrs and we would like to bring this issue to a close. Thank-you in advance for any help you can give us.
