Narrative:

I was en route to daniel field at augusta, GA, from clemson, sc. This was the first solo cross country flight I had undertaken for several years and I was practicing VOR navigation, pilotage and radio communication. I entered the TRSA after establishing radio communication and was intent on following instructions. I was told to advise when the airport was in sight and I misidentified bush field as daniel. I terminated radar since I was advised I could do that when visual contact with airport had been made. I proceeded to land after using unicom frequency for daniel. No traffic conflict existed and I was called to talk to the tower supervisor. I believe this situation was my fault and I've learned a valuable lesson.
