Narrative:

Encounted moderate/severe turbulence in cruise flight. Seat belt sign 'on.' 2 flight attendants and one passenger injured. Turbulence lasted approximately 45 seconds slowed aircraft to 290 KTS. Used control wheel steering selection on automatic pilot. Requested paramedics meet aircraft upon arrival act slc. No visual clues prior to encounter. Approximately 30 seconds earlier heard aircraft report moderate turbulence FL410. We leveled off at FL330 en route - our flight plan altitude was FL410. Would be helpful if something/someone could advise us of C.a.T. Maybe when we check in with ATC, previous aircraft could advise turbulence conditions.
