Narrative:
Commuter PIC reports problem on frequency 120.8 in TRACON ATCT interfacility coordination to frequency 126.05 in obtaining a TCA clearance over lga en route to lga. Reporter is very experienced in area and operational procedure. First controller not cooperative and reporter feels that this was a safety item that should have been resolved on first call up. Reporter finally obtained assistance from a more courteous controller and proceeded as requested.

Narrative: COMMUTER PIC RPTS PROBLEM ON FREQ 120.8 IN TRACON ATCT INTERFAC COORD TO FREQ 126.05 IN OBTAINING A TCA CLRNC OVER LGA ENRTE TO LGA. RPTR IS VERY EXPERIENCED IN AREA AND OPERATIONAL PROC. FIRST CTLR NOT COOPERATIVE AND RPTR FEELS THAT THIS WAS A SAFETY ITEM THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN RESOLVED ON FIRST CALL UP. RPTR FINALLY OBTAINED ASSISTANCE FROM A MORE COURTEOUS CTLR AND PROCEEDED AS REQUESTED.
