Narrative:
My airline currently operates 10 different kinds of aircraft. Within these types are an additional 10 variations. A flight dispatcher is responsible for knowing operating performance characteristics, MEL cdl items and maintaining operational control of this fleet. Our recurrent training is the min required under the FARS. I believe it requires too much knowledge for any one individual to absorb. Although not admitted to, I believe this has the potential to cause a serious incident.
