Narrative:

At taxi out ATIS advised runway 16 and taxi instruction were to 16. I requested an intersection takeoff and was given intersection 'Y'. Approaching intersection 'M' I was assigned tower frequency. Switching to tower I was cleared for takeoff runway 34 fly heading 010. I copied the takeoff clearance and new heading. I missed the runway change and departed on runway 16. After lift off I was assigned a new heading and cleared takeoff departure. There was no traffic conflict. In the future I will always read back the departure runway when cleared for an intersection takeoff. After watching several departures off runway 16 my mind set was for departure on that runway.

AFTER LIFT OFF I WAS ASSIGNED A NEW HDG AND CLRED TKOF DEP. THERE WAS NO TFC CONFLICT. IN THE FUTURE I WILL ALWAYS READ BACK THE DEP RWY WHEN CLRED FOR AN INTXN TKOF. AFTER WATCHING SEVERAL DEPS OFF RWY 16 MY MIND SET WAS FOR DEP ON THAT RWY.
