Narrative:

Reduced rest layover in between long duty days on 4 day flcs. We get off flight duty at late PM00 local and report on at OX40. Total theoretical rest is 8 hours and 40 mins. Subtract 1 hour for transport to and from hotel. Subtract 1 hour at night to eat and wind down. Subtract another hour for wake up, shower, etc. Potential rest 5 hours 40 mins . Add in circadian rhythm reversal, wake up anxiety etc. Actual rest becomes approximately '4 hours of sleep.' rest regulations must change to benefit the safety of flcs and not the pockets of share holders.
