Narrative:

Aircraft was climbing through FL290 when captain who was PF had to leave cockpit to respond to an urgent call of nature. Control of aircraft was transferred to me. Aircraft was stable and on climb schedule. Climbing through FL300 encountered some turbulence (moderate chop). Airspeed began to decrease rapidly. Noticed vibration in the airframe and released autoplt, brought aircraft nose to horizon, selected maximum continuous thrust, recovered airspeed. Flight continued uneventfully to destination. Suspected cause is vertical wind shear with significant down draft.

Title: ACR WDB APCHED A STALL CLBING THROUGH FL300 ON AUTOPLT.

Narrative: ACFT WAS CLBING THROUGH FL290 WHEN CAPT WHO WAS PF HAD TO LEAVE COCKPIT TO RESPOND TO AN URGENT CALL OF NATURE. CTL OF ACFT WAS TRANSFERRED TO ME. ACFT WAS STABLE AND ON CLB SCHEDULE. CLBING THROUGH FL300 ENCOUNTERED SOME TURB (MODERATE CHOP). AIRSPD BEGAN TO DECREASE RAPIDLY. NOTICED VIBRATION IN THE AIRFRAME AND RELEASED AUTOPLT, BROUGHT ACFT NOSE TO HORIZON, SELECTED MAX CONTINUOUS THRUST, RECOVERED AIRSPD. FLT CONTINUED UNEVENTFULLY TO DEST. SUSPECTED CAUSE IS VERT WIND SHEAR WITH SIGNIFICANT DOWN DRAFT.
