Narrative:

While maneuvering on taxiway C and V at dtw so as to comply with tower/ground control for us to pass an airplane on our right, our airplane became difficult to steer. I stopped the airplane and requested help from ground personnel. At ramp and on airport taxiways were snow covered and slippery, and did not appear to have been plowed, sanded, or cleaned. Subsequent examination showed left main gear approximately 18 inches off taxiway!
