Narrative:

Was cleared for entry into arsa and requested vectors as visibility was below min. Big dust storm and high winds. When airport in sight was given choice of 11L or 11R. Having landed before on 11R I would normally request 11R but because of conditions described above requested 11L as I thought I would like to have all the runway possible. I could see 11L was clear and mistook it for 11R as I was lined up for the taxiway which was as big as most runways. It too was clear and only after landing did I realize the error.

Title: SMA LANDED ON PARALLEL TAXIWAY INSTEAD OF RWY 11L.

Narrative: WAS CLRED FOR ENTRY INTO ARSA AND REQUESTED VECTORS AS VISIBILITY WAS BELOW MIN. BIG DUST STORM AND HIGH WINDS. WHEN ARPT IN SIGHT WAS GIVEN CHOICE OF 11L OR 11R. HAVING LANDED BEFORE ON 11R I WOULD NORMALLY REQUEST 11R BUT BECAUSE OF CONDITIONS DESCRIBED ABOVE REQUESTED 11L AS I THOUGHT I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE ALL THE RWY POSSIBLE. I COULD SEE 11L WAS CLR AND MISTOOK IT FOR 11R AS I WAS LINED UP FOR THE TAXIWAY WHICH WAS AS BIG AS MOST RWYS. IT TOO WAS CLR AND ONLY AFTER LNDG DID I REALIZE THE ERROR.
