Narrative:
Just after leveling at 12000 ft, TCASII showed a target at 12 O'clock co-altitude, 5 mi, closing rapidly. This was immediately followed by an RA to climb. Since I saw the light aircraft, I climbed 300 ft and turned left. Thanks to the early warning from TCASII we missed each other by 1/2 mi.
