Narrative:

A helicopter was seen flying overhead our seaplane approximately 50 ft on the left side just prior to touchdown at XA44. During our entire approach no transmission was received on unicom. Once the helicopter overflew us, it proceeded to a steep rate of climb over watson island then continued with a 360 degree turn to a landing at helicopter service. The landing was uneventful. 3 passenger and ground crew witnessed the approach of the helicopter. A report was filed with the FSS upon arrival at fort lauderdale international airport.
