Narrative:

We were on a training flight. I had the student do a simulated engine out drill. I judged the area to be a non congested area and let the student continue the approach until I judged that we would have been able to land successfully, but without descending below 500 ft AGL. We didn't see any people, but as we climbed out I noticed some horse trailers in the area. I decided not to descend below 1000 AGL in this area in the future, as it could possibly be considered an open air assembly of persons. This will not reach you exactly within 10 days of the event because I had difficulty obtaining this form. I will now carry a form in my flight bag.
