Narrative:

I was flying from beverly, ma, to biddeford, me, at 3500 ft using the LORAN to navigation. I followed a direct path. I was aware the president was home, so I knew P67 was expanded to 4 mi radius. I looked at my sectional chart and it looked like the path would keep me 4 mi from the president's residence. Well, I wandered a little east of course. After being told by portland approach I had entered P67, I drew the 4 mi circle on my sectional and realized that it was much larger than I had thought. Might be a good idea to draw the expanded size on the sectional with dotted lines.

Narrative: I WAS FLYING FROM BEVERLY, MA, TO BIDDEFORD, ME, AT 3500 FT USING THE LORAN TO NAV. I FOLLOWED A DIRECT PATH. I WAS AWARE THE PRESIDENT WAS HOME, SO I KNEW P67 WAS EXPANDED TO 4 MI RADIUS. AFTER BEING TOLD BY PORTLAND APCH I HAD ENTERED P67, I DREW THE 4 MI CIRCLE ON MY SECTIONAL AND REALIZED THAT IT WAS MUCH LARGER THAN I HAD THOUGHT. MIGHT BE A GOOD IDEA TO DRAW THE EXPANDED SIZE ON THE SECTIONAL WITH DOTTED LINES.
