Narrative:

At cruise level with no warning encountered sudden windshear which resulted in a large airspeed increase requiring a thrust reduction to idle and 1500 ft climb to avoid exceeding barber pole and vmmo. Resulting G load caused minor injuries to 2 flight attendants. Although the proper company report was filed, the flight crew did not enter the encounter in the aircraft maintenance log. This was likely due to the fatigue induced by the long back-side-of-the-clock duty day. Duty started early local time and ended 10 1/2 hours later.
