Narrative:

This company has been purchased by another airline and has immediately changed the type of operations. The most important thing is that they want us to lie on our squawk books and write squawks in a way the FAA won't notice the real problem and the airplane will be able to fly for many days with the 'item deferred' until they find the part or get the time to fix it. If the squawk was written the normal way, the airplane would be grounded! Also they want us to fly over 34 hours in 6 days, and way over 16 hours of duty time in a single day. This will be too long to explain but if you contact the wichita FSDO and talk to our poi he will have to go and search paperwork in the company. It won't be long before he finds out what really is going on.

Title: COMMUTER FO COMPLAINS THAT A COMPANY TAKE OVER HAS LED TO UNSAFE OPERATING PROC.

Narrative: THIS COMPANY HAS BEEN PURCHASED BY ANOTHER AIRLINE AND HAS IMMEDIATELY CHANGED THE TYPE OF OPS. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS THAT THEY WANT US TO LIE ON OUR SQUAWK BOOKS AND WRITE SQUAWKS IN A WAY THE FAA WON'T NOTICE THE REAL PROBLEM AND THE AIRPLANE WILL BE ABLE TO FLY FOR MANY DAYS WITH THE 'ITEM DEFERRED' UNTIL THEY FIND THE PART OR GET THE TIME TO FIX IT. IF THE SQUAWK WAS WRITTEN THE NORMAL WAY, THE AIRPLANE WOULD BE GNDED! ALSO THEY WANT US TO FLY OVER 34 HRS IN 6 DAYS, AND WAY OVER 16 HRS OF DUTY TIME IN A SINGLE DAY. THIS WILL BE TOO LONG TO EXPLAIN BUT IF YOU CONTACT THE WICHITA FSDO AND TALK TO OUR POI HE WILL HAVE TO GO AND SEARCH PAPERWORK IN THE COMPANY. IT WON'T BE LONG BEFORE HE FINDS OUT WHAT REALLY IS GOING ON.
