Narrative:

We were with dfw departure control, 118.15, level at 10000 ft, turning from 080 to 350. We got a TA approximately 11 O'clock less than 3 mi 400 ft below us. We then got an RA and started to climb based on the ivsi command. Departure control then cleared us to climb to 17000 ft. I told departure control about the RA and they mentioned VFR traffic at 9500 ft.
