Narrative:
Local maintenance test flight. Departed runway 17. Self-announcing on CTAF 122.8. Circled 2 mi southwest of airport about 5 mins and returned towards field. Saw single engine low wing pass to our left, apparently on practice VOR approach, and also apparently not on CTAF. I don't know if he was on the approach control frequency at the time. I consider this to be somewhat of a non event, however, other pilot rptedly thought we 'nearly ran him over'.
