Narrative:

On a military training flight I was flying an mlt around mt rainier at 9500-10000 ft MSL out from the mountain far enough to maintain 2000 ft plus of radar altimeter altitude above the local terrain. Climbers on the mountain at the 12500 MSL level reported I was 'buzzing' the snow fields on the mountain. These visual sightings were not made by a trained observer such as a ranger. This is to illustrate that one perspective of view can distort reality. Our flight never banked over 30 degree or crossed terrain under the aircraft at less than 2000 ft AGL.
