Narrative:

Landed (night) on phl runway 35 and exited onto taxiway hotel. Ground cleared to FBO via hotel, 'give way to small aircraft from right to left on uniform.' I acknowledged and looked for small aircraft, but never saw him until he was abeam my right wing. He evidently saw me and braked and said on ground, 'whoa! That was close.' ground queried, 'what?' he said, 'small aircraft (me) just pulled out directly in front of me.' ground, 'who pulled out?' small aircraft, 'never mind.' traffic was extremely heavy and I was somewhat distracted by inoperative landing light on my aircraft, but no excuse! I just never saw him and should've held short of 'U' till I did!
