Narrative:
Cleared to taxi, started roll to runway 30, taxiway 'J'. Runway 25L under construction. City of long beach. White chevrolet panel truck at high speed approached blind intersection from taxiway 'F' construction area, going eastbound. Truck driver apparently surprised and unable to stop, instead accelerated and failed to yield to aircraft. Advised ground control who saw event and had security notify airport security chief of event. Near miss at 40-50 ft. I had to brake to avoid collision.

Narrative: CLRED TO TAXI, STARTED ROLL TO RWY 30, TAXIWAY 'J'. RWY 25L UNDER CONSTRUCTION. CITY OF LONG BEACH. WHITE CHEVROLET PANEL TRUCK AT HIGH SPD APCHED BLIND INTXN FROM TAXIWAY 'F' CONSTRUCTION AREA, GOING EBOUND. TRUCK DRIVER APPARENTLY SURPRISED AND UNABLE TO STOP, INSTEAD ACCELERATED AND FAILED TO YIELD TO ACFT. ADVISED GND CTL WHO SAW EVENT AND HAD SECURITY NOTIFY ARPT SECURITY CHIEF OF EVENT. NEAR MISS AT 40-50 FT. I HAD TO BRAKE TO AVOID COLLISION.
