Narrative:

Flight was cleared for takeoff on runway 29 from intersection romeo. The takeoff roll seemed normal as the aircraft accelerated to V1, vr. I applied back pressure on the yoke but the nose would not raise to a positive pitch. More back pressure was applied until the control column hit the stops. By now the airspeed had increased to vr plus 15 KTS. I elected to abort the takeoff and the aircraft was brought to a stop with maximum braking and reverse. No further incident. Though nothing definite has been determined yet, it appears that 913 pounds of freight from central or south america was in fact 913 kilograms of freight giving the forward cargo compartment 1000 pounds more weight than the center of gravity envelope would allow.
