Narrative:

There are 2 intxns on commercial high level charts, both north of miami, with very similar sounding names: homey intersection on J-85 and honoe intersection on arrs for mia/fll. In recent rerouting for WX, controller issued clearance to what sounded like 'honoe', but which was intended to be 'homey'. Could cause a problem in the future and one of these points should be renamed to avoid possible confusion and potential 'bad situation'. The southern accents probably make the identify more difficult. Homey is on J-85, J-55, j- 207 bsy 335 177 DME. Honoe is on 'honie 1 arrival' (mia R019/51 NM or VRBR161/77 NM) for fll and mia as well as V-295 (pbi 147/14 NM).
