Narrative:

I was practicing supervised solo x-wind lndgs. I made a left turn from downwind to base for runway 14 at gai. To my knowledge only one other aircraft was in the pattern (on x-wind for 14 gai). I was transmitting all maneuvers on 122.7. When I turned left from base to final I saw a low wing, single engine aircraft on a 45 degree approach to the end of runway 14 at approximately 250' AGL at a high airspeed. My airspeed was 65 KIAS. The low wing aircraft turned 45 degree to the left and landed on runway 14 gai. I slowed to 55 KIAS. The low wing aircraft stopped on runway 14 at the third turnoff. At no time during this entire sequence did the low wing aircraft communication his position. I landed on runway 14 and turned off at the first turnoff. My instrument then informed me that the other aircraft was still on the runway when I touched down. Next time I will take evasive action by aborting landing. I believe the problem was caused by aircraft xyz having his radio tuned to the wrong frequency, although I don't yet know.

Title: SPI LANDS ON RWY WITH ANOTHER ACFT STOPPED AT TURN OFF.

Narrative: I WAS PRACTICING SUPERVISED SOLO X-WIND LNDGS. I MADE A L TURN FROM DOWNWIND TO BASE FOR RWY 14 AT GAI. TO MY KNOWLEDGE ONLY ONE OTHER ACFT WAS IN THE PATTERN (ON X-WIND FOR 14 GAI). I WAS XMITTING ALL MANEUVERS ON 122.7. WHEN I TURNED L FROM BASE TO FINAL I SAW A LOW WING, SINGLE ENG ACFT ON A 45 DEG APCH TO THE END OF RWY 14 AT APPROX 250' AGL AT A HIGH AIRSPD. MY AIRSPD WAS 65 KIAS. THE LOW WING ACFT TURNED 45 DEG TO THE L AND LANDED ON RWY 14 GAI. I SLOWED TO 55 KIAS. THE LOW WING ACFT STOPPED ON RWY 14 AT THE THIRD TURNOFF. AT NO TIME DURING THIS ENTIRE SEQUENCE DID THE LOW WING ACFT COM HIS POS. I LANDED ON RWY 14 AND TURNED OFF AT THE FIRST TURNOFF. MY INSTR THEN INFORMED ME THAT THE OTHER ACFT WAS STILL ON THE RWY WHEN I TOUCHED DOWN. NEXT TIME I WILL TAKE EVASIVE ACTION BY ABORTING LNDG. I BELIEVE THE PROB WAS CAUSED BY ACFT XYZ HAVING HIS RADIO TUNED TO THE WRONG FREQ, ALTHOUGH I DON'T YET KNOW.
