Narrative:

Minneapolis center cleared small aircraft to land at onl, maintain 4000' until established on published segment of approach. Cloud base was at 4000' and contact approach was indicated as airport was in view. Contacted unicom, was advised runway 13-31 was closed due to work being done painting centerline on newly applied asphalt. Unicom advised grass runway 04-22 was available. Landed on runway 04. After flair and T/D with main gear, approaching new asphalt fast. Saw no ramp just a 2' rise. Increased back pressure on yoke, became airborne over runway 13-31, came nose down on other side. Lost nose wheel and strut. Propellers contacted sod. Engine stopped. Slid on grass approximately 200 yds from runway 13-31.

Title: SMA LNDG ON CROSS RWY TO ONE CLOSED FOR PAVING. AVOIDING PAVED AREA, LOSES CONTROL SLIDES ONTO GRASS, NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED.

Narrative: MINNEAPOLIS CTR CLRED SMA TO LAND AT ONL, MAINTAIN 4000' UNTIL ESTABLISHED ON PUBLISHED SEGMENT OF APCH. CLOUD BASE WAS AT 4000' AND CONTACT APCH WAS INDICATED AS ARPT WAS IN VIEW. CONTACTED UNICOM, WAS ADVISED RWY 13-31 WAS CLOSED DUE TO WORK BEING DONE PAINTING CTRLINE ON NEWLY APPLIED ASPHALT. UNICOM ADVISED GRASS RWY 04-22 WAS AVAILABLE. LANDED ON RWY 04. AFTER FLAIR AND T/D WITH MAIN GEAR, APCHING NEW ASPHALT FAST. SAW NO RAMP JUST A 2' RISE. INCREASED BACK PRESSURE ON YOKE, BECAME AIRBORNE OVER RWY 13-31, CAME NOSE DOWN ON OTHER SIDE. LOST NOSE WHEEL AND STRUT. PROPS CONTACTED SOD. ENG STOPPED. SLID ON GRASS APPROX 200 YDS FROM RWY 13-31.
