Narrative:
After landing at mob, re taxied toward gate X on the west side of the terminal. Approach gate X headed south, we found out we were supposed to park at gate Y on the east side. The captain judiciously added power to approximately 67% nz to turn the aircraft 180 degrees. Taxied uneventfully to the gate. While on the ground waiting to push back the station manager informed us that we had allegedly damaged 1 or 2 private aircraft parked on the ramp. Supplemental information from acn 179104: these light aircraft should not be parked so close to turbo jet operations.
