Narrative:

After practicing flight maneuvers in preparation for a biennial flight review, I left the training area to do some lndgs at 38N. After completing 1 soft field landing, and then attempting to make a short field landing, I descended too low, letting landing gear get into a stand of wheat causing loss of speed, and was unable to recover by adding power. The aircraft landed 50' short of runway. Lesson learned here is to not make your T/D point too near the end of the runway. Note: there were no injuries in this accident.
